After landing in a busy airport, your main goal in all of the hustle and bustle is to find and claim your checked hardside luggage as soon as possible. But the baggage carousel only makes it take longer for you to get your bags. Everyone's bags are thrown together, with more added all the time. A lot of the hardside luggage for sale looks similar, and there can be little difference in outward styles, colors, or shapes. And in all of this mess, you need to find your bag without grabbing someone else's by accident, all the while hoping that someone didn't take yours by mistake or that it didn't get lost in transit. Add in that the traveling has already tired and stressed you out. It's no wonder that claiming your luggage is such a chore.

So, before the next time you travel with your checked hardside luggage, follow one or more of these tips. They will make your life easier by helping you to find your luggage easier on the baggage carousel. They will also make it harder for someone else to take your bag by mistake.

Use Decals Or Stickers -- If you don't mind changing up the appearance of your luggage a little, look for large, durable, highly adhesive stickers or decals that are difficult to remove or fall off. Put them on your luggage to make your bag look more unique. Remember that when trying to find your luggage, the easier they are to see, the better.

Wrap Something Bright Around The Handle -- For a quick, easy way to make sure that you can spot your luggage more easily, tie a bright strip of cloth or a ribbon around the handle. When I flew for the first time, this was one of the pieces of advice given to me. For best results, avoid the simple neon and opt for a unique, bright pattern instead.

Make Use Of Accessories -- If you want something that is more fashion-conscious than a bright strip of cloth around the handle and less permanent than a bunch of stickers, then use some unique luggage accessories instead. There are many bright colors and fun patterns available for luggage straps and luggage tags. There are even some luggage locks available in bright colors. Whatever you use, make sure it is TSA compliant in case your bag is pulled for a random security inspection.

Purchase A Different Design Or Color -- If you are looking for new luggage, remember to think about how easy it is to find in a pile. Instead of choosing luggage in a very plain navy or black, choose different colors such as hot pink or bright blue. Or choose a fun pattern, such as floral, animal print, or even polka dot. Hardside luggage that looks different from the norm automatically makes it much easier for you to find no matter where it rests on the baggage carousel.
